## The Review Page

The page has no logo or header. The list starts with the review's label and your invitation note, and the browser tab reads **Client review · Maeve Social**.

The list is split into **Needs your review** and **Everything else**. Each row shows the account, the post's number in the review, its status and its scheduled time. A dot marks a post with a new version since their last visit. The footer counts what is left, for example **2 of 3 to review**, and shows when the review closes.

| Status | What It Means |
| ----------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| Needs your review | It is their turn to decide |
| With the team | Your team is checking it before it reaches them |
| Approved | They approved it, or it has been approved |
| Changes requested | Someone asked for changes |
| Closed | The review reached its closing time |
| Cancelled | The review was cancelled |

Selecting a post shows the account, the scheduled time and **Reviewing as** with their name. Below that are a preview of the post, the review's stages, the buttons and the conversation.

On a phone the list comes first. Tapping a post opens it, and **Approve** and **Request changes** stay pinned to the bottom of the screen.

## Approving

1. Select a post under **Needs your review**.
2. Select **Approve**.
3. Select **Approve** in **Approve this content?**.

Clients approve one post at a time. There is no button to approve everything at once. When nothing is left, the page says **That is everything. The team has been notified.**

If the stage needs everyone to approve, the post waits for the other reviewers and shows who it is waiting on.

To take an approval back, your client selects **Changed your mind? Request changes instead**, enters a reason and selects **Request changes**. Publishing pauses until your team updates the post.

## Requesting Changes

1. Select **Request changes**.
2. Write what needs to change. A note is required.
3. Select **Request changes**.

The page then says **Thanks, your feedback is with the team. They will share an updated version for you to check.** Your client can take the request back with **Retract your changes request**.

## Comments, Images and Reactions

Your client can type in **Message everyone in the review\...** while a post is open for feedback, whether or not it is their turn.

* A comment can be up to 2,000 characters.
* The paperclip attaches one image to a comment: JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF.
* They can react to a message with one of five emojis.

A comment does not approve the post or ask for changes. It goes to everyone in the review and shows on your **Shared with client** tab.

## New Versions

When a new version reaches your client, a **What changed** card shows the differences: the caption word by word, media added or removed, the post type and the schedule. If your client approved an earlier version, the card compares against that one and reads, for example, **What changed since you approved version 2**.

When there is more than one version, a bar above the post lets them look at **Original**, earlier versions and **Latest**. The version they approved is marked **Approved**. On an earlier version, the page says **You are looking at an earlier version. Decisions apply to the latest one.**

While a new version is with your team, your client keeps seeing the last version they were shown and cannot decide on it until the new version reaches them.

## What Your Client Does Not See

* Your team's notes on the **Team only** tab.
* Who is in a team stage, or the team's decisions and reasons. They only see that a team stage exists and whether it is done.
* Versions that have not reached their stage.
* Your calendar, other posts, or anything else in your workspace.

An override is the one team action they do see, with its reason. The review page shows no logo, and the emails come from Maeve Social and name your workspace.

## The Client Portal

A client with several reviews can see them all in one place.

1. Go to [app.maevesocial.com/reviews](https://app.maevesocial.com/reviews).
2. Enter the email address the reviews were sent to and select **Email me a code**.
3. Enter the 6-digit code from the email and select **Sign in**.
4. Open a review under **Needs review** or **History**.

The portal lists every review shared with that email address and how many posts are waiting on them. It does not need a password.

## When a Link Stops Working

An old or removed link opens a page that says **This review is unavailable**. This happens when a reminder has sent a newer link, or when you removed that reviewer from the review. Ask your client to use their newest email, or send a reminder from **Approvals**. They can also sign in to the client portal.

## Questions

### Does my client need an account to review posts?

No. The emailed link opens the review page without signing in. The client portal uses a code sent to their email instead of a password.

### Can my client approve everything at once?

No. They approve one post at a time, and the page tells them when nothing is left.

### Can my client comment without approving or asking for changes?

Yes. A comment of up to 2,000 characters goes to everyone in the review and does not change the post's status.

### Can my client send an image with their feedback?

Yes. They can attach one image to a comment, as a JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF.

### Does my client have to explain a change request?

Yes. A note is required before they can request changes.

### Can my client see my team's notes?

No. Team only notes, team decisions and the people in team stages stay with your team. Your client sees that a team stage exists and whether it is done.

### What is the difference between the link and the client portal?

The link opens one review straight away. The portal at app.maevesocial.com/reviews lists every review sent to that email address after they sign in with a code.
