Child Safety Standards

These are Maeve Social's published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation. They explain what we prohibit, how we prevent and report it, and how anyone can raise a concern with us.

Our Commitment

Maeve Social has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We do not allow it anywhere on our service, and we act on every credible report.

Maeve is a tool for planning and publishing social media content for businesses and creators. It is not intended for anyone under 18. These standards explain what we prohibit, how we prevent and detect abuse, and how anyone can report a concern to us.

What Is Prohibited

The following are strictly banned on Maeve Social, whether created, uploaded, scheduled, stored, or shared through the service:

  • Any image, video, or text that sexualizes a minor, including child sexual abuse material.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to sexually exploit a person under 18.
  • Trafficking, sextortion, or the promotion, facilitation, or normalization of the sexual abuse of children.
  • Links, hashtags, or captions that direct people to CSAE material or communities anywhere else.

Accounts that violate these rules are removed, and their content is preserved and reported to the relevant authorities as described below.

How We Prevent and Detect Abuse

  • Our Terms of Service and content policies prohibit CSAE and are enforced against every account.
  • Reports of CSAE are prioritized for immediate human review, and confirmed violations lead to content removal and account termination.
  • We preserve evidence of confirmed CSAE and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required by law.
  • We cooperate with law enforcement and child safety organizations in their investigations.

How to Report a Concern

Anyone can report suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation to us, whether or not they use Maeve:

  • In the app. Open Settings and tap Contact support to send us a report. Please include enough detail for us to find and review the content.
  • By email. Reach our designated child safety point of contact directly at moc.laicoseveam@troppus.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You can also report directly to NCMEC through the CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.

Legal Compliance

Maeve Social complies with applicable child safety laws and reports confirmed child sexual abuse material to NCMEC and to regional and national authorities where required. Our designated point of contact is available to discuss our CSAE prevention practices and compliance with platforms, regulators, and law enforcement.
