- 1
Name the Report and Choose Accounts
Enter a name, choose a platform or All channels, and select up to 20 accounts. Accounts marked analytics unavailable cannot be included.
- 2
Choose the Sections
Account overview and engagement are included. Add a cover page, demographics, top content, label performance, TikTok ads, or a written summary where offered. Check which sections are available for the selected report platform.
- 3
Set the Schedule
Choose weekly or monthly, then a send day and time. Check the timezone shown beneath the schedule. Weekly reports cover the previous completed Monday-to-Sunday week; monthly reports cover the previous calendar month.
- 4
Add Recipients
Add up to ten email addresses, with optional names, or select saved contacts. Check each address before scheduling. Recipients receive the PDF as an email attachment and do not need a Maeve account.
- 5
Preview and Schedule
Select Preview report to generate a PDF for the most recent completed week or month. Review the accounts and sections, then select Schedule report. Check the next-send time in the report list.
The List
Each report shows its recipients, schedule, next send, and latest delivery status. A paused report shows Paused instead of a next-send time.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not sent yet | No delivery has run |
| Queued | Waiting for processing |
| Sending | Generation or sending is in progress |
| Sent | The send completed successfully for all recipients |
| Partly sent | Some recipient sends succeeded and others failed |
| Failed | The delivery failed |
A successful send does not confirm that the recipient opened the email. If they cannot find it, check the address and ask them to check their spam folder.
Managing One
Open the report's row menu and choose an action.
| Action | What to Do |
|---|---|
| Preview | Inspect the current report |
| Edit | Change the settings and select Save changes |
| Send again | Request another send outside the regular schedule |
| Pause or Resume | Stop or restart future scheduled sends |
| Delete | Remove the report and its history after confirmation |
Send again requests processing; check the resulting delivery status instead of assuming the email has arrived. The regular schedule remains in place.
Why a Report Might Not Arrive
Check whether the report is paused and whether its next send is still in the future. Then check the latest delivery status and any reported error.
Confirm the recipient address and account availability. A large PDF can exceed email attachment limits; reduce the accounts or sections and preview again before retrying.
Each scheduled send generates a report for the relevant completed period. Recent platform data may still be incomplete, so allow for reporting delays when choosing the send day.
Questions
What plan do scheduled reports need?
Standard and Premium.
What period does a scheduled report cover?
Weekly reports cover the previous completed Monday-to-Sunday week. Monthly reports cover the previous calendar month.
Is the data regenerated each time?
Yes. Each scheduled send generates a report for the relevant completed period using available analytics. Platform reporting delays can still affect recent results.
How many people can receive a report?
Up to ten recipients. Each receives the PDF as an attachment without needing a Maeve account.
Why can I only pick up to the 28th for a monthly report?
Those dates exist in every month, including February.
Can I send one outside its schedule?
Yes. Use Send again and check the delivery status afterward. The regular schedule remains in place.
What is the difference between pausing and deleting?
Pause stops future scheduled sends and keeps the report and history. Delete removes both and cannot be undone.
Can a client see the report in Maeve?
Recipients receive the PDF by email attachment. They do not need to sign in to Maeve to read it.
