Assign a Campaign in the Composer
- Open the post in the composer.
- Find the campaign control beside the other content metadata.
- Select the campaign.
- Select a phase if you want to use one.
- Save the post.
Use an unarchived campaign from the same workspace. If you are updating a post that has already published, open it in the post viewer and edit its campaign metadata.
Create Content from a Campaign
- Open the campaign's Content view.
- Use Create content in the empty state when the campaign has no posts.
- Complete the post in the composer and save it.
The composer starts with the campaign selected. Check the phase separately if you want the post assigned to one.
Change or Remove the Link
Open the post's campaign control to choose a different campaign or clear the selection. Select a phase from the new campaign if needed, then save.
If a Campaign Is Unavailable
Archived campaigns are marked Archived and cannot be assigned to new content. Posts already linked to an archived campaign keep that link and can still be saved.
If you need to assign more content, restore the campaign first. See Archiving a Campaign.
Check Linked Content and Results
Open the campaign's Content view to find linked posts and filter them by phase, platform, or status.
Switch to Analytics for campaign totals, phase performance, and individual published editions. An edition is the version of a post published to a specific social account.
Analytics uses the content currently linked to the campaign. Moving content to another campaign changes which campaign reports include it. The metrics are lifetime totals and are not limited to the campaign's start and end dates. You do not need to create a matching label for campaign reporting.
Questions
How do I put a post on a campaign?
Open the post in the composer, select a campaign in the metadata controls, and save.
Can a post be on two campaigns?
No. A post can belong to one campaign at a time.
Can I add a campaign to a post that already published?
Yes. Open the published post in the viewer and edit its campaign metadata.
Do I have to set a phase?
No. A post without a phase still belongs to its campaign.
Why can I not pick a phase?
Select a campaign first. Only phases belonging to that campaign are available.
Why is a campaign greyed out in the picker?
Archived campaigns cannot be assigned to new content. Restore the campaign if you need to add more posts.
How do I create a post already attached to a campaign?
Use Create content from an empty campaign's Content view. The composer starts with that campaign selected.
Can I see analytics for a campaign?
Yes. Open the campaign's Analytics view for totals, phase performance, and published editions. Results use lifetime metrics for content currently linked to the campaign.
