The Board follows each post's content status automatically.

Card grouping

Group channels while their outcomes match, or always show one card for each connected channel.

Save
  • Applies at once, to you

Card grouping writes to your browser the moment you pick it, and survives closing the sheet without saving.

  • Waits for Save, for everyone

The review column is a workspace setting. Close the sheet without saving and the switch goes back to where it was.

  • No Cancel

The X, Escape, or a click outside. Save is always pressable, even when nothing has changed.

The sheet as the product draws it. Card grouping sits above the column switch, and there is one button in the footer: Save, with no Cancel beside it.

Choose Card Grouping

  1. Open Edit board.
  2. Under Card grouping, choose Automatic or One card per channel.
  3. Close the sheet when you have finished, or save any column changes.
SettingWhat you see
AutomaticOne card per post while its active channels have matching outcomes
One card per channelSeparate cards for channel versions

Automatic is the default. A post without channel versions still has one card.

Understand Automatic Splitting

Automatic grouping separates channel versions when their stage or status differs. It also separates them when their scheduled times differ in Review or Scheduled. Publishing times do not need to match once the channels are published.

Archived or platform-deleted channel versions are excluded when comparing active outcomes. A post may therefore stay grouped after one of its channel versions is archived.

Show or Hide Review

  1. Open Edit board.
  2. Change Show review column.
  3. Click Save.

Two posts are waiting on an approver, one of them sent back.

Hiding Review takes the column and the cards that were in it. The two posts here are still waiting on an approver, and the board no longer shows them or counts them anywhere.

This setting is shared across the workspace. Hiding Review also hides its cards; it does not approve them or move them to another column. Turn it on again to see that content on the Board.

Keep Review visible if you use the Board to track approval work. The other column names, colors, and positions are fixed.

Close Without Saving

Closing the sheet discards an unsaved Show review column change. Card grouping remains as selected because it saves immediately.

If teammates still see a different Review setting, check that you clicked Save and are viewing the same workspace.

Set Defaults for New Workspaces

An organization Owner or Admin can open Settings > Organization > Workspaces, then Board template under Defaults for new workspaces.

Set the Review-column default there and save. It applies when new workspaces are created and does not update existing boards. Card grouping remains a browser preference and has no organization-wide default.

Questions

Where are the Board settings?

Click Edit board on the Board toolbar. Editors and Managers can change settings, including organization Admins and Owners.

Can I rename or add columns?

No. Column names, colors, and order are fixed. You can show or hide Review.

Should I hide the Review column?

Keep it visible if you track approval work on the Board. Hiding it also hides cards in that column without changing their review state.

Does hiding Review affect my teammates?

Yes. Show review column is saved to the workspace when you click Save.

What is the difference between Automatic and one card per channel?

Automatic groups channel versions with matching outcomes. One card per channel shows them separately.

Does changing card grouping affect my team?

No. Grouping is saved in your browser for the current workspace.

Why did a post split into several cards when I am on Automatic?

The channel versions differ in stage or status, or have different scheduled times while in Review or Scheduled.

I closed the sheet instead of saving. What happened?

Unsaved Review-column changes are discarded. Card grouping stays as selected because it applies immediately.

Can I set the Review column default for every new workspace?

Yes. Organization Owners and Admins can set it in the Board template under Organization > Workspaces. Existing workspaces are unchanged.
