An upward arrow means the hashtag climbed; a downward arrow means it fell. New means it was absent from the previous ranking. A dash in Move means its rank did not change.
Inspect a Hashtag
- Click its row to open the detail panel.
- Review the views, post count, and available rank and audience data.
- Scroll to the videos and choose a video country if the control is shown.
- Click a video to load its player.
Use the videos to check how people use the hashtag before adding it to your caption. If TikTok returns no videos for a country, try another available country or check again later.
Copy a Hashtag
- In the hashtag detail panel, click Use in a post.
- Click Copy text in the dialog.
- Open the composer and paste the hashtag into your caption.
This copies the hashtag with a leading #. It does not create or publish a post.

Do I need a TikTok account for trending hashtags?
No. Trending hashtags works without a connected social account. Trending music, Keyword research, and Caption hashtags require TikTok Business.
Which countries can I look at?
Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Ireland, Singapore, and the Philippines.
What trend windows are available?
24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, and 120 days.
What does the Move column mean?
It shows the change in rank from the previous period. New means the hashtag was absent from the previous ranking; a dash means no change.
Why does the 30 day chart have gaps?
TikTok only reports daily ranks while the hashtag appears in its chart. Days without a rank appear as gaps.
What is the difference between Views and Lifetime?
Views covers the selected period. Lifetime shows total views when TikTok supplies them.
Can I watch the videos using a hashtag?
Yes. Open a hashtag, scroll to the videos, and click one to load its player. Availability can vary by country.
How do I use a hashtag I find?
Open the hashtag, click Use in a post, then Copy text. Paste it into your caption in the composer.
