Image comparison slider

Compare two local images with a keyboard-accessible divider. Unequal sizes use transparent padding without resizing the originals.

Still JPG, PNG or WebP. Up to 20 MiB and 24 megapixels each. Nothing is uploaded.

Left of the divider: image 2. Right: image 1. Smaller originals are centred on transparent padding at their original pixel size. The preview is scaled to fit your screen.

Two images. Keep the originals; downloads are separate copies.

Use the arrow keys for precise control.

Different sizes are padded, without resampling the originals. This is a visual comparison, not a pixel difference measurement.

PNG preserves alpha. Browser colour conversion can change appearance; the original colour profile is not copied. Files and settings are cleared when you leave.

How to use it

  1. 1

Choose two still JPG, PNG or WebP images.

  2. 2

Move the divider with the slider or arrow keys. Image 2 appears on the left and image 1 on the right.

  3. 3

Download the current split view as a PNG if you need a review copy.

Before you export

Each image is centred at its original pixel size on a canvas large enough for both. Unequal dimensions introduce transparent padding. The on-screen preview scales the complete canvas to fit.

This is a visual review, not a numerical image difference test. Browser colour handling and the display can affect your judgement. The original files are not modified.
