Photo metadata inspector
Inspect supported EXIF and GPS tags in a local photo. Export a new PNG with supported metadata removed and checked again, without uploading the image.

Still JPG, PNG or WebP. Up to 20 MiB and 24 megapixels each. Nothing is uploaded.
Your images
One image. Keep the originals; downloads are separate copies.
Remove supported metadata
Creates a new PNG from the browser-rendered pixels, applies the displayed orientation, and checks its supported metadata containers again.
Metadata is separate from visible clues. Removal does not make every photo safe. WebP is checked for metadata containers; its tag values are not decoded.
Cover visible private detailsPNG preserves alpha. Browser colour conversion can change appearance; the original colour profile is not copied. Files and settings are cleared when you leave.
How to use it
- 1
Choose one still JPG, PNG or WebP and inspect the supported metadata found in the file.
- 2
Review the image for visible details as well as embedded metadata. GPS coordinates stay on your device.
- 3
Download a freshly rendered PNG. Its dimensions and supported metadata containers are checked before download.
Before you export
JPEG and PNG support decoded EXIF/GPS fields. WebP supports container detection; tag values and compressed PNG text are not decoded. Unrecognized or damaged metadata can be missed, and an inspection error is shown when parsing fails.
PNG export uses the orientation and sRGB colours rendered by your browser. It keeps alpha and pixel dimensions, but does not copy the original colour profile. Metadata removal does not hide faces, addresses, reflections or other visible clues.
