Optional. JPG, PNG or WebP up to 20 MiB, or paste one. It stays on this device, and the helper does not read or describe it for you.
What the image is doing
Description
Written by you. The 2,000-unit cap is this tool's limit, not a platform's alt-text maximum.
Review prompts
- Write the information a reader needs from this image in its context.
These are your own review notes, not an accessibility certificate. Video captions, reading order and other platform features are not checked.
Colour contrast
21.00:1. Meets the WCAG AA 4.5:1 contrast threshold for normal text with these solid colours.
This compares two solid colours. It does not sample a photo, a gradient or anything see-through. Large text means at least 18 pt, or 14 pt in bold.
How to use it
- 1
Drop or choose the image you are describing, if you like, so it stays in view while you write. It is not uploaded or read for you.
- 2
Choose what the image is doing in this post, then write the description yourself and paste the caption.
- 3
Work through the review prompts and the checklist, and check any text colours against their background.
- 4
Copy the description into your platform's alt-text field, or download your review notes.
Before you export
This helper cannot understand the image or verify the accuracy of your description. It offers a manual checklist and a small set of text checks, not a complete compliance audit. No image recognition, content generation or upload takes place.
