Organization Settings
Updated
Your organization contains your plan, billing, members, and workspaces. Open Settings and use the pages under Organization to manage it. You need organization Admin or Owner access.
Rename the Organization
- Open General under Organization.
- Click Edit beside Organization details.
- Enter the organization name.
- Click Save changes.
Use your company or agency name if the organization contains several client workspaces. Set each client's name and report branding in Workspace Settings.
Transfer Ownership
Only the current Owner can transfer ownership.
- Open General under Organization.
- Click Transfer ownership in the danger zone.
- Select the member who will become the new Owner.
- Review the confirmation and click Transfer ownership.
If no eligible members appear, add the new owner to the organization first. After the transfer, you no longer have Owner privileges. The new Owner controls future ownership transfers and organization deletion.
Open or Create a Workspace
- Open Workspaces under Organization.
- Select a workspace to open its settings, or click New to create one.
- For a new workspace, enter its name and choose its timezone, then confirm.
The list shows each workspace's timezone and your workspace count.
| Plan | Workspace limit |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Basic | 2 |
| Standard | 5 |
| Premium | Unlimited |
At the limit, New is disabled. To add another workspace, change to a plan with a higher limit or delete a workspace you no longer need. Workspace deletion is permanent.
Set Defaults for New Workspaces
- On Workspaces, find Defaults for new workspaces.
- Open Board template.
- In the content board settings, choose whether to show the Review column.
- In the task board settings, configure columns and any starter tasks or checklists.
- Click Save.
The content board's standard columns are fixed. Task board columns and starter tasks can be customized. For example, add a starter task for connecting a client's social channels, with a checklist of accounts to connect.
