Opening It
- Open the analytics tab you want to report on.
- Set the timeframe and account selection.
- Select PDF beside the CSV export control.
- Check the accounts and UTC reporting period shown in the export panel.
Choosing the Accounts
On a network tab, the current account is preselected. On All, the panel selects eligible accounts up to the limit of 20. Review the selection before exporting.
Accounts marked unavailable cannot be included. Resolve the connection problem or remove an unavailable account from the selection.
The Title Page
The title page is enabled by default. Enter a report title of up to 200 characters and a description of up to 1,000 characters. Turn it off if you want the report to start with the metrics.
The Sections
Account overview & engagement is always included. Choose the other sections from those offered for the report's platform.
| Section | Availability |
|---|---|
| Audience demographics | Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok reports |
| Top performing content | Supported reports except Google Business Profile |
| Label performance | Supported reports except Google Business Profile |
| TikTok ads | Requires an available TikTok ad account |
| Written summary | Available as an optional section |
The top-content label can refer to posts, videos, or pins depending on the platform.
The Written Summary
Enable Written summary, enter a heading of up to 60 characters, and add up to 2,000 characters of commentary. The section appears at the end of the report. Use it to explain a result or record the next action you agreed with the client.
TikTok Ads
If offered, enable the TikTok ads section and select an ad account. It can include spend, results, efficiency, and leading campaigns and ads. If the ad accounts fail to load, resolve that error or turn off the ads section to export organic analytics.
Your Logo and Brand Color
The report uses the logo and brand color from workspace settings. Follow the settings link beneath the download button to update them, then preview the report.
Previewing Before You Download
Select Generate preview to render the PDF. Review the cover, account selection, dates, and section contents. Sections without data are identified in the file.
After changing report options, generate a new preview. The previous preview no longer represents those settings.
Downloading
Select Download PDF and wait for the file to download. This exports the file to your browser; it does not email the report to a client.
For recurring delivery, use Scheduled Client Reports.
