When Maeve Cannot Tell If It Published

Publishing outcome unknown means Maeve cannot confirm whether a post is live. Check the affected account on the network before starting another publishing attempt.

Check the Network
- Open the affected account directly on the network.
- Look for the post using its caption, media, and intended publishing time.
- For a thread, check all its parts.
- Return to the post in Maeve and click Confirm result.
If you still cannot determine the result, close the dialog and check again before confirming either outcome.
A network can accept a post without returning a clear confirmation. A timeout or interrupted response can therefore leave Maeve uncertain even when the post is live.
Confirm That It Published
- Choose Yes, it published.
- Add the live post's URL in Post link (optional), or leave it blank.
- Click Confirm published.
Maeve marks the post as published and does not publish it again through this recovery flow. Adding the URL records a link to the live post. It does not guarantee that every network will supply analytics or inbox data for it.
Confirm That It Did Not Publish
- Choose It did not publish after checking the network.
- Click Move to Failed Posts.
- Open the failed post and use its available recovery action when you are ready.
This records a failed result. It does not start a publishing attempt.
Add a Valid Post Link
Use the live post's URL, preferably copied directly from the network. If the field rejects your entry, replace it with the post URL or leave it blank. Do not enter a caption or note in the link field.
The link is optional. You can confirm publication without it after checking that the post is live.
Avoid a Duplicate Post
The unknown-result state requires confirmation because another attempt could publish a duplicate. Resolve the existing attempt before creating or retrying a replacement.

Check Your Access
An Editor or Manager can confirm the result when the post allows it. If you cannot use the confirmation controls, ask someone with that workspace access to check and resolve the post.

Check the affected account on the network, click Confirm result, and complete either Confirm published or Move to Failed Posts based on what you found.
Do I have to add the post link?
No. The field is optional. Adding the live URL records a link to the post, but does not guarantee analytics or inbox data.
Why was my link rejected?
Enter a valid post URL or leave the field blank. A caption or note is not a post link.
Can I undo confirming it published?
Treat confirmation as final. Check the network first because Maeve will not publish that post again through this recovery flow.
What happens if I confirm it did not publish?
It becomes a failed post. Open it and use the available recovery action when ready; confirming the result does not start a retry.
