Create a Snapshot Link
- Arrange the Planning and Posted grid you want to share.
- Click Share or export grid.
- Click Create snapshot link.
- Paste the copied link where you want to share it.
If copying fails, use Copy grid link beside the newly created snapshot. Use Open grid link to review it in your browser.
Anyone with the link can view it without signing in. It is a visual snapshot; recipients cannot use it to edit the grid or approve posts.
Share an Updated Layout
A snapshot records Planning and Posted at creation time. Later changes to the planner do not update the existing link. Coming up is not a separate section in the shared presentation.
After changing the grid, create another snapshot link to share the new version. The Refresh button reloads the list of links; it does not rebuild an existing snapshot.
Check Expiry and Views
Find the snapshot under Recent snapshot links to see its creation date, expiry date, and view count. Links created through this dialog expire after 30 days.
The dialog does not have custom title or expiry controls. Create a new link when you need to share again after expiry.
View counts record visits to the link. They do not identify a particular recipient or confirm that someone reviewed the whole grid.
Revoke a Link
- Click Share or export grid for the account.
- Find the link under Recent snapshot links.
- Click Revoke grid link.
The link stops working. Create a new snapshot if you need to share again. Revoking a link cannot remove a PDF or image someone already downloaded.
Download a PDF
- Select the account and check its grid.
- Click Share or export grid.
- Click Download PDF.
- Open the downloaded file to review it before sharing.
The PDF captures the current Planning and Posted grid. Generate another file after making changes if you want the updated layout in the PDF.
For feedback and approval on individual posts, use Client Review Batches.
Questions
What plan do I need to share a grid?
Standard or above. Creators, Editors, and Managers can create snapshot links and export a PDF.
Does my client need an account?
No. Anyone with the link can open the snapshot without signing in.
Does a share link update when I change the grid?
No. The link keeps the Planning and Posted snapshot captured when it was created.
How do I show a client an updated grid?
Create and share a new snapshot link. Refresh only reloads the link list.
How long does a link last?
Links created in the sharing dialog expire after 30 days. The dialog does not offer a custom expiry control.
Can I tell whether a client opened it?
You can see the view count, but it does not identify a particular viewer or confirm that they reviewed the whole grid.
How do I stop a link working?
Click Revoke grid link beside the snapshot. Create another link if you need to share again.
When should I use the PDF instead of a link?
Use Download PDF when you need a file for an attachment or presentation. It captures the current grid and does not update afterward.
