Find Previous Content

  1. Open general workspace chat with Ask Maeve.
  2. Name the subject, time period and channel you want to check.
  3. Read the returned content and ask a follow-up about a specific item.

For example:

Find our LinkedIn posts about the September workshop from last month.

If the results are too broad, narrow the date range or use a phrase from the caption. Maeve can read saved content when you ask; it does not need you to paste all of your previous captions into the conversation.

Reuse an Idea

After finding a relevant post, ask for a new version:

Use the workshop announcement as a starting point for a reminder post. Keep the booking link, but make it clear that bookings close this Friday.

Check the new wording against the current details. To save it as a separate post, follow Writing and Saving Drafts.

Ask About Performance

  1. Specify the period you want to review.
  2. Ask for the overall post results and the metrics available.
  3. Check the period and metrics in the response before drawing conclusions.

For example:

Summarize our post performance for August. Use the available metrics and tell me where data is missing.

Maeve can retrieve aggregate post analytics. A written recommendation is an interpretation of those results. It is separate from the recorded numbers.

Check Missing or Unexpected Results

If Maeve cannot find a post, check the workspace, date range and wording of your request. Open the content in Maeve if you need to identify the exact post.

If a metric is unavailable, use the Analytics area to check the data supplied by the channel. Missing data should not be read as a result of zero.

Use the app's reporting controls when you need a report to share. An answer in chat does not create an exported report.

Questions

Can Maeve find something I already posted?

Yes. Ask for recent saved content and include a topic, time period and channel to narrow the lookup.

Can it write a new version of an old post?

Yes. Ask for a rewrite after finding the post, check the facts, then explicitly ask to save a draft if you want one.

Can Maeve summarize analytics?

It can retrieve aggregate post analytics and summarize the available results. Specify the period you want to review.

Does an analytics response create a report?

No. Use the reporting controls in the app to create or export a report.

What if a metric is missing?

Check the channel data in Analytics. A missing metric does not mean its value is zero.
