Add a Platform Plan

  1. Click Add platform and select a network.
  2. Open its strategy detail.
  3. Write the strategy, business goal, and any platform-specific audience information.
  4. Check the save indicator before leaving.

Edits save automatically. If the indicator says Save failed, resolve the error before assuming your changes are stored.

A platform plan records guidance. It does not create scheduled posts or a tracked goal.

Record the Content Approach

Choose Original, Repurposed, or Mixed under Content source. For repurposed or mixed content, select the source platform when relevant.

Select the content pillars and formats you intend to use. These choices record the plan; they do not assign categories to individual posts.

Set a Cadence

  1. Enter Posts per period.
  2. Choose a week or month as the Cadence period.
  3. Review the published count and on-pace marker for the current period.

The count compares publishing activity with the plan. Create a separate Goal if you want a tracked target with a deadline.

Add Playbook Rules

Add up to six rules for the platform. Write each as a specific instruction, such as Update the cover before reusing a video.

These rules are reference text for your team. They do not automatically edit posts or enforce a publishing restriction.

Set a Review Date

Use Running until to record an optional end or review date. Leave it blank for an ongoing strategy. Setting the date does not create a scheduled post.

Start a New Strategy

  1. Open the active strategy's actions menu.
  2. Select Start a new strategy.
  3. Read the confirmation and click Start new.
  4. Fill in the replacement strategy and check that it saves.

The previous strategy is archived with its run dates. Use the history to review earlier plans. Edit the active strategy directly when you only need to update its details.

Questions

What is a platform strategy?

A saved plan for one network, including its purpose, audience, content approach, and cadence.

How is this different from a goal?

A goal tracks a metric against a target and deadline. A platform strategy records the ongoing plan.

Why is there an audience field when I already wrote one in the foundation?

Use it to describe the audience for that network when it differs from the workspace Foundation.

Does the cadence count chase me?

The count and on-pace marker show publishing activity against the plan. They do not create a tracked goal or schedule posts.

What is the content source for?

It records whether content is original, repurposed, or mixed, and the source platform where relevant.

How many playbook rules can I add?

Up to six rules.

What does running until do?

It records an optional end or review date. Leave it blank for an ongoing strategy.

What happens to the old strategy when I start a new one?

Start a new strategy archives the current one with its run dates and lets you write its replacement.
