Handling Feedback
Updated
Open a post in Approvals to read its change request. After editing, check the review status and send the updated version through the required approvals. Saving an edit does not automatically share it with the client.

Reading a Change Request
- Open Approvals and find the post with requested changes.
- Select it and read the decision and accompanying note.
- Check Internal Messages for team discussion or External Messages for the client conversation.
Use the post's history to check earlier decisions before making the revision.
Editing and Sharing a New Version
- Select Edit post to open the composer.
- Make the requested changes and save the post.
- Return to Approvals and check which review stage is required next.
- Resubmit for internal review or send the latest version to the client as indicated by the post's controls.
| Review Setup | Next Step |
|---|---|
| Internal review | Use Resubmit when available to request internal approval again |
| Client review already sent | Select Send latest to client, optionally explain what changed, and confirm |
| Internal + Client | Complete internal approval, then follow the send or notify action shown for the batch |
| Client batch not yet sent | Finish preparing the batch, then select Send to client when ready |
For client-only review, Send latest to client shares a new version and asks the reviewers to approve it again. The client continues to see the last shared version until you send the update.
With Internal + Client, the revised version stays private while internal approval is outstanding. After sending, check for confirmation that the client has the latest version.
The Conversation
Choose the message audience before replying. Internal Messages are for your team. Use External Messages for replies that should appear in the client review conversation.
Send a comment when you need to ask a question or explain a revision. A comment does not approve the post or resolve a change request.
The current client review page has a text comment field. If the client needs to send a replacement image, use a client upload link. Add the image to the post yourself, then share the updated version.
The Timeline
Open the post or batch history to inspect the review record. It includes batch creation and sending, reviewer visits, decisions, comments, and shared versions. Overrides and revoked approvals are also recorded.
A recorded visit confirms the review was opened. It does not confirm the client read every post. Check their decisions to see what remains outstanding.
Overriding
A Manager can use Override approval or Override review when available. Read the confirmation, enter the reason, and confirm only the intended action. The history records the override separately from an ordinary approval.
Check the resulting status and schedule. Clearing internal approval does not also complete a separate client review.
A Rejected Post
A rejected post keeps its content and history. Edit it and use Resubmit when available to return it to internal review.
If you no longer intend to publish it, withdraw it from review where available. For a client batch you no longer need, use Cancel batch and check the posts that return to draft.
Questions
What happens if I edit a post the client already approved?
The changed content needs review again. Check for unshared changes and send the latest version to the client after any required internal approval. Saving alone does not share the update.
Does an edited post go straight back to the client?
No. For client-only review, use Send latest to client. Internal then client requires internal approval before the revised version can be shared.
Where do the client's comments appear?
Open the post in Approvals and select External Messages for the client conversation. Internal Messages are separate team discussion.
Can a client send a file with their feedback?
The current client review page has a text comment field. Use a client upload link to collect a replacement image, then update the post and share the new version.
Can I tell whether the client has opened the review?
The history records review visits. An opened review does not confirm that every post has been read or approved.
What does overriding do?
A Manager can clear the specified approval requirement without the remaining decisions. The reason is recorded as an override. Check any other review requirements and the schedule afterward.
Is a rejected post deleted?
No. It keeps its content and history. Edit it and resubmit for review when ready.
